Subledger Specialist - Accounts Payable (f/m/d)

Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as
Subledger Specialist Accounts Payable (f/m/d) reporting to the Head of Accounts Payable in Subledger / Finance Business Support. You will become a member of the global Accounts Payable Team and key contributor handling the Finance part of Purchase-to-Pay within Vattenfall, ensuring that all activities are done in a timely and efficient manner with high quality and compliance to policies and regulations.
Your Job as Subledger Specialist Accounts Payable (f/m/d)
Process complex topics (e.g. invoices with complex contractual background, VAT controls) with focus on German environment
Support in exception handling with focus on German environment
Contribute to good relationships and good service towards internal customers and external suppliers / customers / BPO provider
Execute services with high quality and timeliness of the delivery following common processes, policies and guidelines
Provide process improvement ideas to process experts / process specialists
Participate in development projects within FBS or group-wide / interdisciplinary projects
As Subledger Specialist Accounts Payable you will support to achieve the targets of Subledger and you will act as ambassador of the Subledger mission and strategy. The transactional part of the activities we do together with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner. Main focus areas for our Vattenfall team is to secure the Service Delivery and to optimize the processes. Beside the functional management of outsourced activities, the team is performing activities in the complete flow of Purchase-to-Pay support and is securing the monthly, quarterly and year end activities.
The location of this position is flexible (Amsterdam, Berlin, Solna), but due to existing team structure Berlin would be preferred.
Your Profile as Subledger Specialist Accounts Payable (f/m/d)
We are looking for a Subledger Specialist Accounts Payable who has a 5 years vocational education (in Germany: Fachwirt) in Finance or similar (e.g. in Business administration, process engineer), more than 2 years of experience within Finance operations & Service management in a Shared Service organisation. Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written. In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position:
Experience from working within transactional finance processes
Detailed knowledge of Finance & Procurement processes, systems and requirements
Very good knowledge of the Accounts payable processes
Good understanding of the Purchase-to-Pay End-to-End perspective
Good understanding of the Finance processes within SAP FI and MM
Strong interpersonal skills, team player, conflict resolution management
Your personal characteristics
Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically and see the big picture
Proactive, solution oriented and able to create credibility and engagement
Ability to work in large and complex organisations and to handle internal and external interfaces effectively
